Air Cooled Screw Chiller
The fixed-frequency flooded air cooled screw chiller is a large-sized air conditioner widely used in hotels,
restaurants, office buildings, stores, and hospitals. It is also applicable to different industries such as
metallurgy, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and electronics. Each unit features standard
components such as efficient, low-noise semi-hermetic twin-rotor screw compressors, flooded
evaporators, fin-coil heat exchangers, efficient and large air volume axial flow fans, EXVs, and micro-
computer control centers. The compressor applies energy to the refrigerant vapor to increase its
pressure and temperature. Next, the refrigerant vapor changes to low-pressure, low-temperature liquid
refrigerant through a condensation and throttling process, before it is evaporated into vapor in the
evaporator. The vapor absorbs heat from its surroundings (for example, a refrigerating medium like cool
water) to achieve manual cooling by reducing the temperature of the refrigerating medium.
